Do you know that each event on a Teamup calendar can be displayed and shared as a stand-alone web page? It is a simple and powerful solution for sharing an event with a friend, promote an event in a group, or provide event details in an email or social media post:
- It’s read-only, so no worries about anyone accidentally changing the calendar events.
- It’s always up-to-date. Any changes on the calendar is immediately available on the page – simply reload the page at any time to get the latest updates from the calendar.
- Options for further sharing or adding to personal calendars. Simply click the icon of your preferred tool or calendar in the top right-hand corner.
- “A picture is worth a thousand words” – Display your event flyer or any details visually to grab the attention you need.
This demo shows how to share individual events from Teamup in a browser. You can also share events from the Teamup app: see this article.
- Open Teamup in a browser.
- Click an event to open it.
- Click Share.
- Teamup has multiple sharing options. The Share menu will show all enabled sharing options.
- To share an event page, select As page.
- The event page will open in a new tab. Event pages have all the event details and are updated automatically.
- To share the event page with others, copy the link in your browser’s address bar. Then paste it wherever you want to share it.
- Or use the sharing buttons at the top to send the event page to another calendar or share it on social media.
- To share add-to-calendar links, select As link.
- Choose who can use the add-to-calendar links: Anyone or Teamup users only.
- Choose the style.
- Click Copy, then click Done.
- Paste the copied links into a text message, social post, email, etc. to share with others.
- To share the event directly on social media, select the platform you want.
- To share the event via email, select Email.
- Your default email app will open with the event details pre-populated in a draft email.
- To share the event to another calendar, select the appropriate option in the Calendars section.
Note: The calendar administrator can manage sharing options. If you need a sharing option that is not shown on the Share menu, contact your calendar administrator and ask them to enable that option.
